I am a Chicago-based psychotherapist with 19 years of experience working with children, adolescents and adults. My clinical background includes providing individual, couples and group therapy related to anxiety, stress management, trauma, depression, adjustment difficulties, coping skill development and anger management.
I believe self-sufficiency is essential to growth, and attempt to facilitate change by encouraging each client to become an advocate for her/him/themself. I work with clients to discover a variety of appropriate and healthy coping mechanisms to utilize as they navigate through life’s daily stresses.
As a dedicated social worker and clinician, I offer each client a safe and non-judgemental environment in which to develop a trusting and respectful therapeutic relationship. In addition to talk therapy and psychoeducation, I use a variety of therapeutic modalities including guided meditation, mindfulness, breathwork, hypnotherapy and journaling.
